On 22 September 2003 , a seminar in Bucharest took place for the promotion of the Pro Patrimonio organizations. The seminar “Conservation and Rehabilitation of the Historic Sites” was organized by one of the Ratiu Foundation UK scholars, architect Ruxandra Iulia Stoica, together with Pro Patrimonio Romania and the University of Architecture “Ion Mincu”. Our sincere thanks to the speakers and organizers.

On 16 October 2003, Pro Patrimonio Romania, with the kind support of BizBash Event company organized at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel in Bucharest (in the Queen Mary Hall that was generously been offered by the hotel) a public event, focusing on increasing awareness on heritage topics, and the foundation visibility: Pro Patrimonio President and Founder, arch. Serban Cantacuzino, gave a lecture on “The Painted Churches of Bukovina” and a presentation of Pro Patrimonio projects in Romania. The event was completed by a vin d'Honneur offered by Vinarte and was attended by over 50 guests. The event was focused on representatives of the diplomatic community in Bucharest (as for instance, H.E. Mr. Jonathan Scheele, Chief of EU Delegation in Bucharest and Mrs. Sarah Scheele, H.E. Mr. Wilfrid Gruber, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Romania and Mrs. Gruber, and Mrs. Gruber, Mrs. Nienke Trooster, deputy chief of mission, The Netherlanden Embassy), of business community and Pro Patrimonio members.

Between 17 – 24 October 2003, a workshop was held, as part of UNESCO grant for the rehabilitation of the Golescu Manor House's wounderful terrace garden. The workshop, in which post-graduate students from the University of Architecture “Ion Mincu” took part, was held at Campulung Muscel and partly at the University in Bucharest under the direction of French landscape architect in charge of the rehabilitation of the historic garden, Clement Briandet; university professors Sergiu Nistor and Alexandra Chiliman, Anca Bratuleanu.

Also present were Serban Cantacuzino, founder-president of Pro Patrimonio, Caroline d'Assay, president of Pro Patrimonio France, Maria Berza, vice president of Pro Patrimonio Romania and Matei Lykiardopol, Hon. Treasurer of Pro Patrimonio Romania and architect of the villa restoration project.

On 12 December 2003, Pro Patrimonio organized, at Lebada Hotel in Bucharest, a Concert of Christmas Carols sung by the Stavropoleos Chucrch Children's Choir, given in the memory of Matei Lykyardopol, architect, member in the Council and Honorary Treasurer of Pro Patrimonio Foundation. The Concert was followed by a reception offered by Mr. Nicolae Ratiu and Lebada Hotel. The wine was generously offered by Vinarte. The event was attended by over 80 persons, including representatives of the diplomatic and business community in Bucharest and PP members.
