Pro Patrimonio is partnering with several other organisations in a comprehensive program aiming to revitalize the historic Saxon villages of Transylvania.

Pro Patrimonio and its partners will provide management and technical expertise to edit a heritage map and build a system of signposts for the area (signs along roads leading to interesting sites, information leaflets to be made available in public sites such as churches, local museums, old schools, etc). This material is important for furthering the development of tourist itineraries and for the general development of the area. The systm will also signal and describe the natural environment, the local plants, wildlife, landscape and ecological farming projects.

The project will help in creating an area in which the historic heritage and the natural environment will be protected to stop misuse and destruction and will serve as an example of site preservation for other areas.
