15 May 2004 - The Pro Patrimonio Heritage Spring Evening at the the Lebada Hotel.

Pro Patrimonio Romania organized at the Lebada hotel, situated on Saint Pantelimon Island in Bucharest, its first fund raising event and the first edition of an annual spring event that Pro Patrimonio will organize from now on to promote the preservation of Romania's architectural and natural heritage.

The objective was to raise 10 000 € for the restoration of the Golescu Villa in Campulung.

At the event, HH Prince Radu of Hohenzollern – Veringen, the guest of honor, presented a message from HRH Princes Margarita of Romania:

“The event of this evening is an inspiring and familiar one. I always believed that looking at your past and trying to evaluate and understand it means to value its richness on behalf of the future and for a better management of the present. (…) This is way I appreciate Pro Patrimonio, as an idea and as an organization. It illustrates, in the most appropriate manner, how one should deal with the value of heritage. Since its establishment, Pro Patrimonio has been helping Romanian heritage to be discovered, reevaluated, saved and enriched. This is a great job.”

The Elite Physicians Orchestra of Bucharest played excelently for the event.

A silent auction was organized based on private donors and sponsors. Over 250 people attended the event and 10,078 € were raised, of which 5000 € and building materials valued 2500 € were generously offered by the Lafarge Group in Romania. Lafarge signed a 3 year partnership agreement with Pro Patrimonio earlier this year and this gift was part of their annual contribution

18 September 2004 - European Heritage Days at Viscri.

The event was organized by Pro Patrimonio on the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2004 that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the European Cultural Convention. The event was designed to increase the public's awareness of Romania's multicultural heritage and helped raise funds for the restoration of the church organ.

A concert was given by Ursula Philippi and the Sibiu Cantate Domini Ensemble. Mrs. Philipidi played music from a manuscript she discovered in the Viscri church on the 18th century organ.

150 people attended the concert and was 1,000 $ were collected that will help restore the organ and will be administerd by the local Alba Ecclesia foundation.

25 October 2004 - Second Pro Patrimonio seminar on Urban Heritage and Identity.

Pro Patrimonio, in cooperation with the Architecture Department of the Polytechnique University in Timisoara and Serban Sturdza, president of the Romanian Order of Architects, organized the second Pro Patrimonio seminar “Urban Heritage and Identity”. Sherban Cantacuzino, president of the Pro Patrimonio Foundation gave a talk on the Foundation and Mioara Lujanschi, manager of the Foundation talked on the work on the Lipscani Map, a 3D map of the old merchant center of Bucharest.
