This historic castle known as the "Transylvania Versailles" has been completely destroyed.

Major restoration work is under way by the Transylvania Trust with help from the Romanian and Hungarian governments and other organizations. Once restored, the castle will house a learning center for traditional arts and crafts.

The Pro Patrimonio Foundation will restore the 40 hectars eighteenth century park of the castle.

A survey of the ground and a restoration study have been completed. Discussions are under way with the owners for the restoration. Funding is being actively sought for this major project.
