These objectives go beyond the simple restoration of the old buildings. Through these projects, Pro Patrimonio intends to:
- Revitalize some important professions for the restoration process of the whole Romanian patrimony,
- Help Romanians to appreciate their cultural heritage,
- Showcase the beauty of this Romanian Cultural Heritage culture integrated into the greater European context,
- Supporting the economical development that can be increased by the national patrimony.

UNFORTUNATELY …
The architectural and natural patrimony of Romania is more than ever threatened after 45 years of communist regime and 20 years of difficult transition, post-1989.
The programmed destruction of the ancient patrimony by the communist governments and especially by Ceausescu during its last years, the recent uncontrolled modernization and underfunded resources, the lack of a cultural policy to protect the national patrimony, the real estate speculation and ignorance, have all contributed to a extremely grave situation.
These are the reasons the Foundation really needs supports in its endeavors and projects developed in UK, France and US to help Romania.
YOUR SUPPORT IS THEREFORE ESENTIAL,
